Elton John's Seventies White Ostrich Feather Costume:

Elton John was on an upward tragetory when he played the Hollywood Bowl in 1973.  Linda Lovelace introduced Elton while imperonators lined the stage dressed as Batman and Robin, The Queen of England, and Laurel and Hardy amongst others.  He debued a new, white ostrich feather costume.  He would wear it again the the late seventies in a holiday promotional video.
